Despite being 7 point underdogs the Thrillbillies were able to pull out another victory for their veteran but much-maligned head coach Bill "The Thrill" Morrell. The 'billys, as they are affectionately known among their fans, were able to overcome a huge 45 point performance by Peyton Manning on Sunday, and with a strong performance from Ray Rice on Monday night they cruised to a unexpected but relatively easy victory. Scott Van Pelt of ESPN was quoted after the game: "The Thrillbillies' creativity and innovative approach to the game continue to enable them to pull off victories against the odds". Perhaps the best analysis was provided by a dejected easy riders' fan leaving the stadium: "I mean, just look at their logo compared to ours...its obvious which team cares more..."
